This stone-built dwelling was constructed in or about 1974 by converting some of the old farm buildings belonging to Village Farm (
click on previous owners for earlier history). Some of the older structure may be that which is visible in the distance in this old photograph from Victorian/Edwardian times.

The porch visible in the modern picture is a very recent (2009) addition.
