This stone-built dwelling was constructed in or about 1974 by converting some of the old farm buildings belonging to Village Farm (click on previous owners for earlier history). Some of the older structure may be that which is visible in the distance in this old photograph from Victorian/Edwardian times.

The porch visible in the modern picture is a very recent (2009) addition.
